Fitness for work medicals and consultancy service
We have a team of doctors who are qualified in Occupational Medicine. This relates to assessment of workers for fitness for work following injury or health issue and ongoing clinical care. Referrals are often from organizations that need such assessments.
If an individual has an injury or a health issue, our doctors can guide their rehabilitation and provide guidance on their return to work.
In New Zealand, the Company holds the Vocational Medical Services (VMS) contract with Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC).
If you are an Occupational Therapist or a Physiotherapist or a GP with a client on a return-to-work programme funded through ACC, you can refer your client to us for a Vocational Medical Review (VMR) or a Vocational Rehabilitation Review (VRR). These medical assessments are to guide physical and vocational rehabilitation and are funded by ACC via the VMS contract.
